The schedule for the upcoming 13th National Parliament election will be announced tomorrow, Thursday (December 11) evening.

Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Nasir Uddin will announce the schedule in his address to the nation at 6 pm today.

Election Commission Senior Secretary Akhtar Ahmed gave this information on Wednesday (December 10) afternoon.

The Chief Election Commissioner recorded his speech announcing the schedule on Bangladesh Television (BTV) and Betar at his office in the Election Building in Agargaon at 4 pm today.

After the speech was recorded, the CEC held a meeting with all the commissioners. After the meeting, Senior Secretary Akhtar Ahmed briefed reporters in detail.

Earlier, the Election Commission led by Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Nasir Uddin met with President Md. Shahabuddin.

After the meeting, EC Secretary Akhtar Hossain said that the President expressed satisfaction with the details. The President was curious about the out-of-country vote issue and the Election Commission is moving forward with it. The President will provide maximum cooperation to ensure meaningful elections.
