Police have recovered the hanging body of Arman Ahmed Shafin (26), the convener of the July Yoddha Sangsad organization, in Uttara, the capital.

Arman’s body was recovered hanging from a ceiling fan at his house in Adam Ali Market area of ​​Dakshinkhan, adjacent to Sector 8, Uttara this afternoon (Saturday). At that time, Arman’s lifeless body was hanging from the ceiling fan with a noose around his neck. However, his knees were attached to the bed.

Witnesses, who asked not to be named, said that it was not a suicide but a planned murder.

It is known that Arman Ahmed Shafin was a former student of Uttara Government College. Arman was at the forefront during the July movement in Uttara.

In this regard, Nur Mohammad, former coordinator of the local anti-discrimination student movement committee, said that looking at the picture, it seems that this is not a normal suicidal case. It looks like someone killed him and hung him. How can suicide happen in such a small place? Clear signs of injury were also seen on his feet.

In the evening, IUBAT student Raju Ahmed said that he will take Arman’s body to the ambulance and take his mother home in a police car. Arman’s mother is just asking – why did you take my son? We are unable to answer this question due to the mother’s tears.

On this issue, Dakshinkhan Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Taifur Rahman Mirza told Uttara News that the body was found hanging. However, the exact reason will be known only after the postmortem report, whether it was murder or something else.

The OC said that he lived with his parents in the Railgate No. 8 area.
