Distance will increase with those against reforms: Hasnat Abdullah

“There will be more sympathy with those who are in favor of reforms, and more distance with those who are against reforms,” said Hasnat Abdullah, the chief organizer of the National Citizens Party (NCP) for the southern region.

He made these comments while talking to reporters after the NCP’s district coordination meeting at the Pirojpur Upazila Parishad auditorium on Friday (October 31) at around 10:30 am.

When asked about the agreement with the Awami League, Hasnat Abdullah said,

“Bangladesh is moving forward without the Awami League. After August 5, there will be a Bangladesh without the Awami League. The question of compromise with them is irrelevant.”

When asked whether there has been any distance between him and the BNP and Jamaat, he gave a definitive answer of no.

Hasnat Abdullah is currently on a three-day organizational tour of Barisal division. On the first day of the tour, he participated in the district coordination meeting held at the Pirojpur Sadar Upazila Parishad auditorium.

Mujahidul Islam Shahin, Organizing Secretary of NCP’s Barisal division, Abu Saeed Musa, Chief Coordinator of Barisal district, and Mashiur Rahman, Chief Coordinator of Pirojpur district, were present at the time.
