
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Professor Mia Golam Parwar has urged Shibir leaders, saying, “A balance should be maintained between organizational activities and studies. Morality should be improved. Skills should be acquired through proper use of information and technology. It is very important to always practice restraint, humility and patience.”
He said these things while speaking as the chief guest at the day-long Central Divisional Responsible Education Camp organized by Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir on Wednesday, October 22.
At the education camp held at Al-Falah Auditorium in Moghbazar in the capital, he also said, “The camp is a factory for creating leadership. Since its inception, they have been providing the nation with competent leadership. Not only competent, but they have also already shown honesty and efficiency.”
He said, “The manpower of the camp should be developed as good students. They should play a role in building a good career and developing talent. Honest, competent and efficient leadership should be provided in various sectors of the state machinery.”
The program was chaired by the central president of Shibir, Zahidul Islam, and moderated by the central human resources development secretary, Sharif Mahmud. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Professor Mia Golam Parwar was present as the chief guest.
In addition, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Nayeb-e-Ameer Professor Mujibur Rahman, central executive council member ATM Azharul Islam, former central president of the camp Salahuddin Ayoubi, secretary general Nurul Islam Saddam, central social service secretary Abdul Mohaimen, Dawah secretary Muzaffar Hossain, eminent educationists and Islamic scholars were also present.
The educational camp included subject-based discussions, soft and hard skill development, contemporary issues and question and answer sessions. At the same time, the top 10 candidates in the annual merit test organized for departmental members were awarded. The central departmental officials of Chhatra Shibir participated in this.
