Miscreants threw two bombs at the main gate of St. Mary’s Cathedral Church in Kakrail. One of the bombs exploded at the main gate. The incident took place at around 10:15 pm yesterday (Friday, November 7).
At that time, law enforcement officers recovered an unexploded bomb from inside the main gate. Later, members of the police bomb disposal unit went to the scene and defused the recovered bomb.
The DMP’s dog squad was also seen conducting searches. However, it is not yet known who or what is involved in the incident.
Today (Saturday, November 8) there is a national-level event at St. Mary’s Cathedral Church in Kakrail.
