US Ambassador to Bangladesh Brent Christensen met with Foreign Affairs Advisor Md. Towhid Hossain. This was the US Ambassador’s first meeting with the Foreign Affairs Advisor after assuming office in Dhaka. The meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday (February 8) afternoon.

Ambassador Christensen said in a post on the embassy’s Facebook page, “Had a wonderful meeting with Foreign Affairs Advisor Md. Towhid Hossain. We had fruitful discussions on important issues in our bilateral relationship.”

Before meeting with the foreign affairs advisor, the US ambassador also held a separate meeting with Foreign Secretary Asad Al-Siyam in the morning.

According to sources in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Brent Christensen arrived at the ministry around 11 am. He first met with Foreign Secretary Asad Al-Siam. After discussing with him, the US ambassador went to the office of Foreign Affairs Advisor Md. Towhid Hossain.
