Someone or something set fire to two buses in the capital’s Merul Badda and Shahjadpur areas. Both buses belong to Victor Paribahan. No definite information has been received about who or what purpose set the two buses on fire.

The fire service received reports of a fire in two buses early this morning (Monday). A total of four units of the fire service brought the fire in the two buses under control.

Rashed bin Khalid, duty officer at the fire service control room, gave this information.

He said, “Today at 5:40 am, we received news that two Victor Paribahan buses were set on fire in the capital’s Merul Badda and Shahjadpur areas. Later, two of our units went to the spot and brought the fire under control. However, we do not know how the bus caught fire. We have not received any news or information about this yet. Apart from this, there is no information that anyone was injured.”
