Dhallywood megastar Shakib Khan is all set for a new cinematic journey with Sun Music and Motion Pictures Limited, as the actor has signed a deal to star in two upcoming films under its banner.

The renowned production house is known for hit films like ‘Monpura’, ‘Bishwoshundori’, and ‘Hawa’.

The first project, ‘Soldier’, directed by Sakib Fahad, began shooting on Sunday, October 5. The production house has not yet revealed details of the second film.

Shakib Khan said, “Every Sun Music film has earned national honors and international acclaim. Signing two films with this company will open new horizons for the film industry.”

He added, “We often see leading entrepreneurs abroad investing in mainstream cinema to support the industry. Anjan Chowdhury, and his team, passionate about our culture, are collectively a true blessing for Bangladeshi films.”

Sun Music Chairman Anjan Chowdhury praised Shakib’s dedication, saying, “He has devoted over 26 years entirely to cinema, and we congratulate him for his contribution during this remarkable journey. Our partnership will unlock new opportunities for the film industry.”

The contract was signed on behalf of Sun Music and Motion Pictures Limited by CEO Ajay Kumar Kundu.
