The government has promoted 22 officials working in the administration to the rank of assistant secretary (non-cadre). A notification in this regard was issued by the secretariat branch of the Ministry of Public Administration on Monday (December 1).

According to the notification signed by Senior Assistant Secretary Shifa Nusrat, the above mentioned officers have been promoted to the post of Assistant Secretary (non-cadre) in the 9th grade (22,000-53,060) as per the National Pay Scale, 2015 and appointed to the post of Special Duty Officer of the Ministry of Public Administration.

The order will be issued with the approval of the competent authority and will be effective immediately, the notification said.
