OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, has launched an artificial intelligence-based web browser. The browser is going to be called ‘ChatGPT Atlas’. This information has been announced on OpenAI’s official YouTube channel.

OpenAI’s browser service will initially be available globally on macOS.

It will gradually start serving on Windows, iOS and Android. As a result, tech analysts believe that Google’s web browser Chrome may face competition.

Several companies are moving towards reinventing web browsers by integrating artificial intelligence with them. In this regard, Perplexity AI’s new AI browser has received a very good response.
