A person was shot dead by miscreants in front of Dhaka National Medical College in the capital. The miscreants opened fire indiscriminately in an open area in front of the college and quickly fled.
According to locals, the man was rescued with gunshot wounds and taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), where doctors declared him dead.
The deceased was identified as ‘top terrorist’ Mamun.
Police are inspecting the scene and have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the shooting and identify the attackers.
