In continuation of expanding customer-friendly modern banking services, Janata Bank PLC has added NPSB fund transfer and mobile recharge facilities to its digital banking app e-Janata. At the same time, the user interface of the app has been redesigned to be more modern, attractive and secure.

On Thursday, November 06, 2025, Janata Bank PLC Chairman Muh. Fazlur Rahman formally inaugurated the new services as the chief guest through a simple ceremony. Managing Director Md. Mujibur Rahman presided over the ceremony. At that time, Deputy Managing Directors of the bank Md. Golam Mortuza, Md. Fayez Alam and Md. Ashraful Alam and GM of ICT Department Mohammad Anis, along with General Managers of the head office and other senior executives were present.

NPSB Fund Transfer service will enable customers to send money to any bank account in the country quickly, easily and securely. On the other hand, Mobile Recharge service will provide customers with the convenience of instant recharge on mobile phones, which will make banking services more convenient, digital and timely.
