Obaidur Rahman highly praised Remark HB, the country’s most popular manufacturing company, for producing the best quality cosmetics, skin care and home care products. He also expressed satisfaction at seeing the modern methods of production, quality control, preservation and comprehensive management of quality cosmetics of the world’s best brands produced in the country.
Today, Saturday, May 3, 2025, the Industries Secretary visited the world-class state-of-the-art factory of Remark HB Limited in Gazaria, Munshiganj.
At this time, the Industries Secretary called on people from all walks of life in the country to use domestically produced products at a higher rate for the development of the industry. He said that if the use of domestically produced products increases, more new industries will develop. Entrepreneurs will be more interested in investing in the country. This will meet their own needs and export products abroad. From which it will be possible to earn huge foreign exchange.
Obaidur Rahman assured that the Ministry of Industries will do everything necessary to solve the existing crisis and problems of the domestic industry. The Industries Secretary said that issues that are outside the purview of the Ministry of Industries, especially those related to the Ministry of Commerce and the National Board of Revenue, will also be resolved through discussions.
Earlier in the morning, upon reaching the Remark HB factory, company chairman SM Ashraful Alam and senior officials welcomed Industries Secretary Obaidur Rahman. After the reception, Ashraful Ambia, Managing Director of Remark HB Limited, briefed the Industries Secretary about Remark’s activities and future plans and answered various questions. Later, he visited the production process, storage and overall management of various types of cosmetics of the world’s best brands using high technology.
The Industries Secretary visited the product production floor, laboratory, packaging floor, raw material storage area, and mold making section. He expressed satisfaction at seeing that Remark’s product production process is world-class and in accordance with BSTI standards. Finally, he visited the country’s largest washing product Orix and Sunbit production plants. He expressed satisfaction at seeing the skills of both foreign and local workers in the production process of this world-class, state-of-the-art factory.
Also present at the time were Remark HB Limited Vice Chairman Sonia Akhter, Director Fariha Alam Prova, Gazaria Upazila Executive Officer Md. Ashraful Alam and Gazaria Police Station Officer-in-Charge (Investigation) Md. Nurul Islam, along with senior officials of Remark.
