Public Relations Director said that recently it has been noticed that some people on social media are spreading propaganda regarding the postponement of the upcoming referendum and the National Parliament elections. In this regard, the Election Commission has said that the National Parliament elections and referendum will be held in 299 parliamentary constituencies (excluding Sherpur-3) on February 12, 2026 (Thursday). The Election Commission is requesting the countrymen not to pay heed to the propaganda regarding the postponement of the upcoming referendum and the National Parliament elections.
