The Bangladesh Army has undergone its second round of top-level reshuffle in a week as part of an ongoing reorganization.
This was reported on Thursday (February 26) according to information received from the army headquarters.
According to the information, Lieutenant General Mohammad Shahinul Haque has been transferred to the post of Quartermaster General (QMG). He has been replaced by Lieutenant General Mohammad Faizur Rahman.
Major General Hossain Al Morshed, GOC of 19 Infantry Division, has been appointed as the new Adjutant General. Major General MD Hakimuzzaman has been transferred to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In addition, Major General Mohammad Kamrul Hasan has been given the responsibility of the Logistics Area of Dhaka and Major General Muhammad Mostagosur Rahman Khan has retired.
