The National Citizens Party (NCP) has started selling nomination application forms for the 13th National Parliament elections.
Dr. Tasneem Zara, Senior Joint Member Secretary of the National Citizens Party (NCP), made this known on Thursday (November 6).
He further said that interested parties can collect nomination forms through three channels. Interested parties can submit nomination forms at the NCP central office, on the website, and to the chief organizers and divisional secretaries of the northern and southern regions.
Meanwhile, National Citizens Party (NCP) Chief Coordinator Nasiruddin Patwari said that the minimum cost of the application form is 10,000 taka. For July warriors and the indigent, it is 2,000 taka.
He said that the initial list of nominees will be published by November 15.
Nasiruddin Patwari said, "We do not want to nominate a representative of any party, we want to nominate a representative of the people."
He said, "If BNP and Jamaat agree on the justice and reform process, then we can enter into an alliance with either party."
Nasiruddin Patwari said, "BNP has failed as an opposition party in the last 15 years in parliament. How can a party that has failed as an opposition party succeed as a government party?"
He called on both parties to stop the conflict, mentioning that Jamaat and BNP should sit at the negotiating table.
He also urged those from BNP and Jamaat who are fighting the movement after not getting nominations to join the NCP and seek nominations, saying that if they are honest and qualified, the NCP will give them nominations.
