A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between DNCC and the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Division this morning at the Agargaon ICT Bhaban in the capital for the integration of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) services into the citizen services platform.

In his speech as the chief guest, DNCC Administrator Mohammad Ejaz said, “There is no alternative to digital services to prevent corruption in government services and increase citizen benefits. By reducing human interaction through digitization of citizen services, people will be able to receive services quickly and hassle-free. Today’s MoU signing will make government services easier and more transparent.”
Currently, a total of 465 government services are being provided from 6 centers in the capital through the “Citizen Services” platform. These include land services, birth and death registration, passport services, BRTA services and various allowance application services.
Through this new MoU, Dhaka North City Corporation’s holding tax and trade license related services will be included in the citizen services platform.
Dhaka North City Corporation believes that through this initiative, city residents will get faster, more effective and more transparent citizen services.
