Seven people, including the pilot, were killed when a military cargo plane crashed near the Russian capital Moscow on Tuesday in the Ivanovo region.
The Russian Defense Ministry said the plane was an AN-22 military transport aircraft. It was undergoing a test flight after undergoing repairs due to engine problems. It was carrying seven crew members and technicians.
The plane crashed in an uninhabited area shortly after taking off from a military airbase. As a result, there is no risk of casualties outside the plane, the ministry said.
An investigation committee has already been formed to find out the cause of the accident and they have started working.
